Firstly, I'm gonna announce that chapter 9 of "fixing the balance" is finally out. Now, it was a pain in the flank to finish off, but I'm just glad to have some weight of my shoulders. I will start chapter 10 whenever I feel it's convenient to do so, probably some point over the next week, but for now, I'm gonna take a breather.

After months of work, I get to close the draft for Starforge. Because today? Today I was working on the epilogue. That’s right. The last chapter is over and done. The final battle, from start to finish (and I count start as the moment it engages, not the prelude) weighed in at 68,000 words. The draft right now is sitting at about 493,000 words.

Okay, update number 3. Wow, a lots happened over the last week, so let's get this update started.

Firstly, I managed to get the remastered version of chapter 2 for 'fixing the balance' out before the end of last month as promised, and while the remastered chapter is still waiting for its own final edits from my proof-reader, 0_0. I doubt I'd be able to make as much progress with remastering without him, so I'm pretty grateful for his help.

A Scratch On Shining Armor: A new chapter released on Saturday, as is the norm now. I was really having trouble with it, as I ran into some writer's block for the majority of the week. Short and sweet here guys. I’m still pretty tired. And was tested for Covid-19 last night so … yeah. 72 hours until the results come back. Only symptoms fatigue (a lot of it) and the occasional light headache.

But enough of that. Book updates!

Starforge is now at 163,500 words. I’m running a little slow right now, just doing 2,000 a day instead of 3,000-4,000 and I’m tired through it, but I can’t stop. This story is too important.
